Borobudur Temple is a very famous Buddhist temple. This temple is one of the largest Buddhist monuments in the world. Built in the 8th and 9th centuries by the Syailendra Dynasty, this temple consists of 10 floors. This symbolizes the 10 levels of the Bodhisattva (stages for attaining perfection).

Borobudur Temple can also be divided into three levels. They are Kamadatu , Rupadatu , and Arupadatu . Kamadatu symbolizes the lowest level of humanity. People are still bound by the law of karma. Here we can see the Karma Wibangga Relief.

The second level is the Rupadatu Level or faceless level. This symbolizes the person who begins to seek enlightenment. At this level, we can see Lalitavistara, a relief about Buddha. There are also other reliefs and other stories at this level.

The last one is the Arupadatu level or the faceless level. It symbolizes perfection. This is the circular floor in the temple where we can see many stupas
