Mount Klotok is one of the mountains located near the foot of Mount Wilis. This mountain is located in the Corner Village, Mojoroto District, Kediri, East Java Province. This mountain is a cluster of the Wilis Mountains which is located quite far from Mount Wilis itself. This mountain has a height of ± 536 masl. The name Klotok comes from the words Kolo and Tok. Kolo which means danger and tok means only. So Klotok means a dangerous mountain. The uniqueness of this mountain is its shape resembles the figure of a sleeping woman. By him Klotok is also dubbed the Sleeping Beauty.

This mountain is a barrier between the City of Kediri and Kediri Regency in the west. This mountain contains a lot of historical value. On this mountain there are 3 caves, namely Selomangleng Cave, Selobale Cave and Padedean Cave. In addition, on this mountain there is one spring, namely Sumber Lo.

Peak

This mountain has many peaks, but the best known are Puncak Klop and Watu Bengkah. Klop Peak is in the middle while Watu Bengkah Peak is in the south. At the top of Klop there is an inscription which indicates that this is the highest peak of this mountain. The peak of Watu Bengkah is usually used for raising the red and white flag during the celebration of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day.

Climbing this mountain does not take long. Just 1-2 hours. There are 2 routes that climbers usually use to reach the top of this mountain. The climber's favorite route is the route down or along the ridge with a fairly sloping road but far enough. Another route is through the back of Goa Selomangleng which directly passes through the middle of the hill and passes Goa Selobale. These two routes will meet at one field which is also the Post 1 "Proliman". From Post 1 we have to make a choice to go to Puncak Klop or Peak Watu Bengkah. To go to Watu Bengkah Peak, you can turn right, while for Klop Peak, you can go straight.

Tour

This mountain has quite a variety of tourist attractions. Starting from Goa, Museum, Water Boom, and Graves. The caves in this mountain are Selomangleng Cave, Selobale Cave and Padedean Cave. Airlangga Museum is ready to greet us before we set foot in Selomangleng Cave. Right next to Selomangleng Cave there is a Water Boom. Next to this mountain is Maskumambang Hill, which is also the Wilis mountain range. There, there is Mbah Boncolono's meal at the peak. To reach this tomb, there are stairs that are ready to take us to the peak.
