You work as a translator in a publishing company. You have worked on some novels and become a well-known novel translator. Several days ago, you received a letter from your best friend who had just finish her/ his study in the UK. S/he earned a master’s degree in Translation. S/he wanted to work in a publishing company as a translator like you. So, s/he asked you for some advice on how to become a successful translator and how to work at a publishing company.

Now, reply to his/her letter that includes the below points:

• congratulating her/him on her/his graduation

• giving some advice on what to prepare before applying at a publisher company

• giving some advice on how to work as a translator

• offering the other help/assistance

Your writing should contain 150-200 words. Bear in mind, we suggest you to not too focus on the content. We want to see whether you have accomplished these writing competencies or not. The writing competencies that are being assessed are organization, content, word choice, and mechanic.
