O is also center of square, so angle O = 90° (intersection of diagonals)

shaded area = \frac{90}{360} × area of circle

16π = \frac{90}{360} × πr²

r² = 16 ÷ \frac{90}{360}

r = \sqrt{64}

r = 8 cm

perimeter = 2×radius + 1/4 circumference of circle

                 = 2r + 1/4 × π × 2r

                 = 2 × 8 + 1/4 × π × 2 × 8
