I decided to call the mall's customer service and asked if anyone had found a lost wallet. Unfortunately, they said that no one had turned in a lost wallet.

Resolution:

Feeling upset and frustrated, I decided to retrace my steps at the mall. I went back to the food court and asked the staff if they had seen my wallet.
