Without realizing it, teachers are often trapped in the habit of teaching students to only know geography facts without attracting students to explore and witness geographic phenomena. Whereas as we know, geography lessons have a very deep meaning, namely the science that studies the description of the earth's surface. Therefore, Geography teachers need to reflect back on the meaning of the science of Geography by empowering images that represent the beauty and majesty of this earth created by God. As the saying goes, "a picture represents a thousand words." Through pictures or photos, Geography will be more effective in conveying facts, meanings, and even reflections on natural phenomena than simply memorizing words. For this reason, the author will describe several steps that teachers can apply to integrate photography in Geography subjects.
