1) Ucok : Meri = 28 : 28+18
= 28 : 46 (devided by2)
= 14 : 23
2) Tomatoes : apples = 3 : 5
tomatoes = 30 ÷ 3 = 10 (each ratio)
apples = 5 x 10 = 50 apples
3) Green pencils : red = 2 : 3
red pencils = 18 ÷ 3 = 6 (each ratio)
green pencils = 2 x 6 = 12 pencils
pencils = 18+12 = 30 pencils altogether
4) 63 ÷ (4+5) = 63÷ 9 = 7
first number = 4 X 7 = 28
second number = 5 x 7 = 35
5) Boys : Girls = 4 : 3
the difference = 4-3 = 6
1 unit = 6
Boys = 4 x 6 = 24 boys
Girls = 3 x 6 = 18 girls
altogether = 24 + 18 = 42
