In the menstrual cycle, the ovaryreleases aneggeverymonth. Each time an egg is released, the uterus must prepare itself for a fertilized egg. A thick lining full of blood vessels slowly develops. If the egg is fertilized, it passes into the uterus and attaches itself to the uterus wall. If the ovum is not fertilized, it passes out of the uterus. The uterus lining will begin to break down and exit through the vagina. This process is called menstruation otherwise known as a “period”. The menstrual cycle allows the uterus to grow a fresh lining every time a(n)egg is released to provide freshand healthy conditions for thegrowing embryo.

❃ Puberty | Menstruation

• The point which ѕeхυal maturity is reached is called puberty. Usually female puberty comes several years faster than male.
• Every month, female human experience menstruation whenever they already hit puberty. The symptoms started when we start to experience a cramp in the stomach.
• Menstruation happens because the change of hormons in the body.
• Puberty doesn't mean the person is already an adult, this is because the emotional development is not complete.

❃ What happens during menstruation?

There are 4 steps happens during menstruation.

1. Inside the ovary, a follicle which contains egg cells develops.
2. Ovulation occurrs. The follicle bursts and releasing an egg cell. In this stage fertilisation usually occurs BUT in menstruation usually there's no fertilisation.
3. The follicle turns into a corpus luteum (this can be painful). In this stage, the lining if the uterus becoming thick and spongy wall, its ready to receive embryo IF the egg fertilised (as i explained before, in menstruation fertilisation DOESN'T OCCUR)
4. Menstruation. Because the egg didnt fertilised, the lining of uterus is not needed anymore and it started to breaks down, and is gradually lost through vagina (the lining of the uterus contains blood vessels this is why blood seen during menstruation).

This process will continue back to number1, but the lining uterus start repaired and breaks down again.

• Titik saat kematangan seksual sudah puncaknya adalah pubertas. Biasanya wanita lebih cepat beberapa tahun mengalami pubertas dari pada pria.
• Setiap bulan, hampir semua wanita mengalami menstruasi saat mereka sudar mengalami puber. Gejala dari menstruasi adalah saat terasa rasa sakit di bagian perut.
• Menstruasi terjadi karena adanya perubahan hormon pada tubuh dan sel telur yang muncul tidak dibuahi/difertilisasi.
• Pubertas bukan berarti orang itu sudah beranjak dewasa, karena kondisi emosi orang tersebut masih belum tentu dibilang dewasa walaupun sudah mengalami pubertas.

❃ Apa yang terjadi saat menstruasi?

Ada 4 tahap yang terjadi dalam menstruasi

1. Di dalam rahim(ovarium), folikel yang mengandung sel telur mulai berkembang.
2. Proses ovulasi terjadi. Folikel mulai mengeluarkan sel telur. Dalam tahap ini, fertilisasi biasanya terjadi NAMUN dalam menstruasi, fertilisasi tidak terjadi.
3. Folikel berubah menjadi korpus luteum (saat ini rasa sakit dapat muncul). Pada tahap ini, dinding dari uterus(rahim) mulai menjadi semakin tebal dan kenyal, siap untuk mendapatkan embrio yang terbentuk setelah fertilisasi JIKA fertilisasi terjadi (seperti yang sudah saya katakan sebelumnya bahwa fertilisasi tidak terjadi dalam menstruasi).
4. Menstruasi. Karena sel telur tidak terfertilisasi, dinding uterus sudah tidak dibutuhkan lagi dan mulai hancur, sisa - sisa dinding ini akan keluar melalui vagina (dinding uterus memiliki pembuluh darah di dalamnya inilah kenapa saat menstruasi kita bisa melihat cairan beserta darah yang keluar)

Proses ini terjadi lagi dan dinding uterus mulai kembali lagi dan hancur lagi.
