-They share the same time zone

-Both of them are near Eastern Europe, but neither of them have been influenced by communist and socialist ideologies adopted by most Eastern European countries especially during the cold war

-They both use the euro as their currency

Differences:

-Finland has a smaller coastline compared to Greece

-Finland has a weaker military compared to Greece

-People in Finland speak Finnish, and people in Greece speak Greek

-Finland's national animal is the brown bear, whereas Greece's national animal is the dolphin
