Ryan: Hello Andy! You're close with Abby, right?

Andy: Hi Ryan! Yes I am actually. Why?

Ryan: Her birthday is coming soon and i don't know what to give her. So I wonder if you could help me choose a birthday present for Abby?  I have no idea what she likes.

Andy: Ah I see. Sure I'd love to help you.

Ryan: Okay, thank you so much.

Andy: Abby loves to write, so I think a diary book would be nice.

Ryan: I'm not sure about that, I think it is such a basic and usual gift. I want to give her something special.

Andy: It's not basic unless you make it special. For example, you can add a little note with romantic words in it. I'm sure she will adore it.

Ryan: That's a wonderful idea. Thank you Andy.

Andy: My pleasure. Let's go to the mall after school to buy the gift. Would you like a ride? I brought my car today.

Ryan: No, it's okay, you already helped me a lot. I can drive my own car.

Andy: Alright then, see you later!
