How would you like to find snakes in your bathroom? The bad ones too!

We just moved into a new house, which has been empty for so long that everything is falling apart. Anna and I decided we'd clean the tub first, so we set it up,and turn on the faucet.

3.Crisis

Suddenly to my horror, a snake head appeared in the plug hole. Then came out the rest of her long skinny body.He twirled and twirled on the slippery bottom of the tub, spitting and hissing at us.

4.Reaction/Incident

For a moment standing there was quite paralyzed. Then I shouted for my husband,who luckily came running and killed the snake with a broom handle. Anna, who was only three years old at the time,quite interested in this business. Admittedly I had to pull her out of the way or she might have leaned back in the tub to get a better view!

5.Coda

Since then I always put the plug firmly before draining the shower water.
