CUKANG TANEUH

Cukang Taneuh is also well known as Green Canyon or Ngarai Hijau in Indonesia. Yes, it's one of the tourism objects in West Java, Indonesia. It was formed because of the landslide of River Cijulang's flow for a thousand years. It broke through a cave with the beautiful stalactite and stalagmite.

Cukang Taneuh is located in Kertayasa Village, Cijulang District, Ciamis Regency, West Java. It is thirty one kilometres far from the south of Pangandaran. It is not far from Batukaras and Nusawiru Airport. To get in the location, tourists must rend a boat from Ciseureuh ghat. It takes about thirty to forty five minutes from the ghat to the location.

Cukang Taneuh is surrounded by two hills which are beautiful and green. There is a waterfall, which is called Palatar, at the entrance of the cave. Of course, it's cold there. Because of the structure of the cave and hills, the tourists can do a rock climbing there. Besides, they can also do other activities, such as swimming, sailing, and fishing.
