Cireng is originated from West Java. It is highly popular in Bandung. The main ingredient is tapioca flour which is mixed with seasonings such as salt, garlic, and flavorings to form dough. The dough is shaped into various sizes and fried until cooked. Cireng is served with thick rujak sambal made from red chili, brown sugar, tamarind, roasted shrimp paste, salt, and white sugar.
