Holiday in Bali

On the last vacation, my family and I went to Bali. We left the house on Sunday. We went there by car. It took 3 days to get there from Lampung. We arrived in Bali in the evening, then we checked in at the hotel and rested. The next morning my family and I decided to go to Kuta beach first because it was not too far from our hotel. There, my brother and I swam at the beach, while my parents just stayed by the beach to enjoy the sun bath. In the afternoon we went to eat at a restaurant near Kuta beach. After that we continued our journey to “Tanah Lot”. The view at “Tanah Lot” is simply amazing. The waves are rough, so is the wind. There also stands a place where Balinese people pray called "Pura". My family and I took a lot of pictures there. In the afternoon we returned to the hotel. Then we shower and rest.

The next day, my family and I went to a place full of monkeys called “Alas Kedaton”. Actually I was a little scared when I was in “Alas Kedaton”, but my dad reassured me that it would be fine. My father was right, there I took a photo with the monkeys and they were friendly. After that, we moved to the most amazing and beautiful place I have ever visited called “Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK)”. The place is so big. The statue that was built there is very big and beautiful. I wander how they can build such a great place. Of course, my family and I don't want to miss out on a great spot for taking pictures. When we took pictures, we heard music coming from somewhere. Then, we found out where the music came from. It came from a good place, it looks like an auditorium. There are performed traditional Balinese dances. It was so nice to see such a dance. Since it was getting dark, we returned to the hotel.

Last day, shopping time. So, my family and I went to a traditional market called “Sukowati”. I am very happy to be there. I want to buy whatever I want. I feel time is running so fast in the market, when we left the market it was already 4 pm. Then, we went back to the hotel and packed our things because we had to go back to Lampung the next day. It was an amazing vacation for me. Hopefully next time I can go to Bali again
