Ingredients:

• Cooked rice (preferably leftover and cooled)
• Cooking oil
• Chopped garlic
• Chopped onion
• Soy sauce
• Salt and pepper
• Optional: chopped vegetables, meat, and eggs

Instructions:

1. Heat a tablespoon of cooking oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
2. Add the chopped garlic and onion and sauté for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant.
3. If using, add chopped vegetables and cook until tender. If using meat, add it now and cook until browned.
4. Move the ingredients to one side of the pan, creating a space for the eggs. Crack the eggs onto the empty side of the pan and scramble until cooked.
5. Mix everything together in the pan.
6. Add the cooked rice and stir to combine with the ingredients.
7. Add soy sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Cook for another 3-5 minutes or until the rice is heated through and slightly crispy.
9. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade fried rice!
