EVENTS

Event 1: We took a Trans Jakarta bus from our home and stopped at Gambir shelter. From there, we walked to Monas.

Event 2: On the way to Monas, we saw many people jogging and playing roller blades.

Event 3: At Monas, we visited the museum at the base and saw many dioramas about Indonesian history.

Event 4: We then went to the top of Monas and rented bicycles to ride around the park. We also saw domesticated deer roaming freely.

Reorientation

Last week, my friends and I visited Monas (Monumen Nasional) in Jakarta. We took a trans Jakarta bus from our home and stopped at Gambir shelter. On the way to Monas, we saw many people jogging or playing rollerblade. First, we visited the museum at the base of Monas and learned about Indonesian history through the dioramas. Then, we went up to the top of the monument and enjoyed the breathtaking view using binoculars. We also rented bicycles and rode around Monas. After a while, we had a meal in the yard and saw some domesticated deer roaming around freely. Finally, we took some pictures before heading back home.
