1. Who is Bella? Bella is Mr. Brian’s niece.

2. According to the dialog, what is Mr. Bryans hobby? Mr. Bryan’s hobby is cooking.

3. Why does Bella congratulate Mr. Bryan? Bella congratulates Mr. Bryan because Mr. Bryan is accepted as a participant in a famous cooking contest.

4. What does Bella hope? Bella hopes that Mr. Bryan will win the cooking contest.  

5. Call Mr. Bryan when the contest. Mr. Bryan received a message.

6. For Dewa and Olivia. Dewa and Olivia are a very close friend with Fania and they will miss Fania for her leaving to Samarinda.

7. Why does Olivia wish that Fania will not move to Samarinda? Olivia wishes that Fania will not move to Samarinda because Olivia will miss Fania’s charms and helpfulness.

8. What is fun do you like? Everyone likes to befriend her.  

9. What does Dewa hope about their friendship? Dewa hopes that Fania will always remember their friendships.

10. What will Dewa and Oliva do after the conversation? Dewa and Olivia will discuss with their classmates for giving Fania a farewell gift before she leaves to Samarinda.

Pembahasan

Teks diatas tergolong sebuah teks Dialog. Dialog adalah sebuah teks kutipan percakapan langsung antara dua pihak atau lebih yang berdiskusi tentang sesuatu pembicaraan. Dialog biasanya menggunakan bahasa sehari-hari yang cenderung informal. Teks Dialog pada umumnya ditulis menggunakan kalimat Simple Present Tense.

Teks dialog memiliki ciri-ciri antara lain:

• Banyak menggunakan kata-kata yang disingkat seperti: I’m, she’s, I’ve, thanks, wow, that’s, it’s, dan lain-lain.
• Percakapan mengenai suatu topic.
• Pihakyang saling berinteraksi menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dimengerti satu sama lain.
• Teks dialog selalu diawali dengan nama pihak yang berbicara.
• Teks dialog ditandai dengan dibuka dan diakhiri dengan tanda kutip (“...“).
