Explanation

Active voice, merefleksikan si pelaku aksi melakukan tindakan terhadap object.

Sedangkan, Passive voice, merefleksikan tindakan dan object (recipient)sebagaipemberitaan utama atau si pelaku aksi mendapatkan perlakuan dari object.

Pada umumnya, objectpada Active voicediposisikan sebagai subject pada Passive voice. Sedangkan, si pelaku aksi (subject) pada Active voice, diposisikan sebagai Agent , dengan diawali preposisi "by" pada Passive voice.

Struktur dari Passive voice yaitu S+be+V ³.

Auxiliary "Be" dikonjugasikan ke bentuk-bentuk tenses yg digunakan pada masing² pernyataan.

2. Present Continuous

Pattern :

My mother is cooking rice in the kitchen now

P ➡ S+is/am/are+being+V³+by Agent+ROTS

Rice is being cooked by my mother in the kitchen now.

Rice ➡ Singular noun

3. Simple Past

Pattern :

A ➡ S+Verb²+O+ROTS

The witch cursed the man into a dog

P ➡ S+was/were+V³+by+Agent+ROTS

The man was cursed by the witch into a dog

4. Past Continuous

Pattern :

Ani was doing homework when her mother came home
