Hi Paula,

I’m glad you had (1) a good time on holiday. We went to Italy last year. It’s great, isn’t it?

We’re going (2) on holiday next week, actually. Dad really liked the idea of Spain, but Mum preferred Portugal. They asked me to choose. ‘OK’, I said. ‘France’.

We’re going to stay in (3) a small hotel. Dad wanted to go camping, but Mum doesn’t enjoy that type of holiday.

(4) Our hotel is near the sea. It’s famous for its restaurant too. But I don’t really like holiday.s You work hard (5) for 50 weeks a year and then worry about your holiday. My parents are worrying about everything at the moment: packing clothes, finding passports, buying suntan lotion, choosing books to read.

This is why I think the perfect holiday is staying at home and doing nothing. Anyway, I’ll call you when we come back.
