Pembahasan

Kalimat Pasif [Passive Voice] merupakan kalimat dimana subjek dikenai oleh pekerjaan. Kalimat pasif selalu mempunyai rumus be + Verb3. Subjek dikalimat aktif akan menjadi objek dikalimat pasif. Begitu pula, objek dikalimat aktif akan menjadi subjek dikalimat pasif. Kalimat diatas menggunakan simple present tense. Jadi Rumus yang diguanakan adalah :

Active Voice : Subject + Verb1 (s/es) + Objek

Passive Voice : Subjek + Am/Is/Are + Verb 3 + by + Objek

Keterangan :

• Am digunakan jika subjek berupa I.
• Is diguanakan jika subjek berupa she, he, it (singular noun).
• Are digunakan jika subjek berupa you, we, they, plural noun.

Contoh :

1. She buy a book. => A book is bought by her.
2. I do homework. => Homework is done by me.
3. They play dolls. => Dolls are played by them.
4. Neni brings some books. => Some books are brought by Neni.
