Descriptive text atau yang dalam bahasa Indonesia disebut dengan teks deskripsi adalah sebuah tulisan yang menjelaskan atau mendeskripsikan suatu topik (hewan, orang, maupun benda) secara mendetail.  

Struktur Descriptive Text

1. Identifications (identifikasi) berisi mengenai gambaran umum tentang suatu topik.
2. Description (deskripsi) merupakan penjelasan yang memuat ciri-ciri khusus yang dimiliki benda, tempat, atau orang yang dideskripsikan.

1. Menceritakan identitas pribadi, usia, status, dan pekerjaan
2. Memberikan deskripsi fisik

My Beautiful Hero

I want to tell you about the most beautiful hero in this big world, her name Mrs. Ala and she is my mother! This year, she will turn into 48 years old, you might think she is a bit too old to be called a hero, but she's still a hero for me. My mom is a housewife, she looks after all of the family, especially me and my little brother. That's what's her a hero for me.

Even though my mom is 48 years old this year, but her appearance still looks like she is 20 years old! She's quite a fashionista, anyway. My mother’s body is quite ideal, her height is about 160 centimeters. Her skin color is white. My mother face is oval shaped. She has wonderful black eyes. My mother's hair color is black and her hair is always short.

My mom is a great cook, I think her food is the best in the world! He is also very good in English and Math, sometimes she helps me and my brother with our homework. My mom is also a simple woman, she always dresses so simple, but still attractive to look at. She's just so beautiful in her own and I adore her so much.
