Passive sentence (Kalimat Pasif) umumnya kalimat disusun oleh kata kerja, dimana subjek tidak melakukakan aksi. Subjekdari kalimat pasif merupakanpenerima aksi.

1. Some babies were vaccinated by doctor in the hospital.
2. Some food supplies were shared by some entrepreneurs.
3. The students were taught by teacher in the classroom.
4. Laptop was bought by Kalisha for her sister.
5. Candi Prambanan will be visited by tourists tomorrow.        

Penjelasan:

Kalimat pasif adalah kalimat yang menunjukkan kata kerja sebagai penerima  aksi, dan tidak menunjukkan aksi.

The floor was cleaned by Doni (Lantainya dibersihkan oleh doni)

Rumus Kalimat Pasif:

• Simple Present Tense

S + Verb1 (s/es) —– I cook the Chicken. (Aktif)

Object + To be (are/am/is) + Verb3 + Subject —– the chicken is cooked by me. (Pasif)

• Simple Past Tense

S + Verb2 + Object ——– He washed the motorcycle (Aktif)

Object + To be (was/were) + Verb3 + Subject ——– the motorcycle was washed by him (Pasif)

• Present Continuous Tense

S + To be (are/am/is) + Verb-ing —— they are studying Japanese. (aktif)

O + to be (are/am/is) + being + Verb3 —– Japanese were being studied by them (Pasif).

• Simple Future Tense

S+bare infinitive + direct object -- I will wash clothes. (aktif)

S(Object) +Will +be +V3 by -- Clothes will be washed by me. (Pasif)
