Pendahuluan

Future tense adalah kalimat yang digunakan untuk menyebutkan tindakan atau aksi yang akan terjadi di masa depan.

rumus:

• (+) S + will + verb 1 + O/C
• (-) S + will + not + verb 1 + O/C
• (?) Will + S + verb 1 + O/C + ?

contoh:

• (+) Nadira will attend the meeting with her colleague.
• (-) Nadira won't attend the meeting with her colleague.
• (?) Will Nadira attend the meeting with her colleague?

Pada soal, diminta untuk melengkapi kalimat dengan kata kerja yang ada dalam kurung.

Untuk mengubah kalimat di atas ke bentuk future tense, maka:

• ubah bare infinitive (to + verb 1) menjadi will + verb 1.
• todiganti menjadiwill.

contoh:

The train ___ (to arrive) at 10.15 a.m.

• (to + verb 1) → (will + verb 1)
• to arrive → will arrive

➝ The train will arrive at 10.15 a.m.
