Yesterday was National Teacher Day. My classmates and I had an idea. We planned to give a gift to our teacher. Mrs. Ika Setyawati, S.H.I was my homeroom teacher this semester. She was very discipline, smart, beautiful, and she liked to give us motifation and suggestion. She alwways inspired all students.

In the framework of celebrating the National Teacher Day, my classmates and I gave her a surprise. Yesterday we did not have her class, but after the lesson, we invited her to come to our classroom. She did not know what we wanted to do and she did not know what should she do. We asked her to stand up infront of us. We then sang “Terpujilah wahai ibu bapak guru” together. We congratulated her on the National Teacher Day. She looked very happy. She was at that time speechless infront of us. She did not say something but “thank you very much” she said that she never got something like it.

The last, we shook hands one by one and we gave her a special gift. She suggested us to study hard and to reach our dreams. She prayed for us in order that we could be good generation either for our nation or also religion. This was our first experience to do it. It was really nice and I hoped my classmates and I could continue this.
