We all have our favorite movies. In my opinion, favorites usually entail an incident or a tale that is difficult to forget and makes an impression on you. My favorite movie is no different. The first time I watched it (my favorite movie) was also the first time I went to the cinema.

I still remember it vividly. I was nine years old.

On the day of my birthday, my mother surprised me. She took me and my big brother to the cinema.

Stepping my little foot into the cinema, I could smell the popcorns and other foods that were being made and served. We walked to the ticket seller (or cashier) and purchased three tickets to the movie "Paulie". With a smile on her face, my mother bought me and my big brother popcorns. It truly was a memorable day, digging my fingers through a box of hot, buttered, salted popcorn in a dark movie theatre with my beloved ones on my special day for the very first time!

Now I'm an adult and I love going to the cinema. I usually go to the cinema once a month. I will always remember the day that I went to the cinema for the first time.
