The Philippine government knows that smoking is deadly. But it also knows that more n 60.000 farmers rely on tobacco __36__ for a living. Traditional healers in the Philippines use tobacco leaves __38__ wounds and insect bites, researchers want to assess the plant's potential as a topical pain killer and antibacterial medicine.
