Once upon a time, lived a princess. Her name was “Napisah”. She came from Banten, Jawa Barat. But, she lived in 4 Ulu Laut. Palembang. She was very beautiful. Many people amazed with her beautiful, so the people gave the nick name for her “Putri Pinang Masak”. The report about the beauty of Putri Pinang Masak hearing by the king from Palembang, his name was Sunan. Sunan wanted Putri Pinang Masak became her concubine. Putri Pinang Masak would become concubine on his kingdom. Sunan sent his army to pick up Putri Pinang Masak to his palace. But, Putri Pinang Masak refused that. Putri Pinang Masak and her family were sad. Before the army of Sunan came to Putri Pinang Masak’s house, the family of Putri Pinang Masak boiled heart of banana. After that, the water which came from boiling that became black and dirty. This water used Putri Pinang Masak for take a bath. So, the skin of Putri Pinang Masak became black and dirty. The army of Sunan came to house of Putri Pinang Masak. They confused because the report which they heard about the beauty of Putri Pinang Masak contradiction with the fact which they looked. They doubted to take Putri Pinang Masak to palace of Sunan. Because this is instruction from Sunan, then the army of Sunan took Putri Pinang Masak to the palace. After Putri Pinang Masak came, Sunan is so disappointed and gave the instruction to his army to bring Putri Pinang Masak to her house. Putri Pinang Masak was so happy. She came back to her house and happily with her family. After this moment, the beauty of Putri Pinang Masak became interesting report. The beauty is so famous. Sunan hearing again this report, and gave the instruction to his army to investigate the value this report. His army investigated this report. Putri Pinang Masak was the beautiful ladies. She deceived Sunan. Sunan was so angry. He gave the instruction to his army to pick up Putri Pinang Masak again to his palace with compulsion. The family of Putri Pinang Masak was so sad to hear that. And then, Putri Pinang Masak and her friend leaved her house with the boat. They boat run in Ogan river until the hilt. In this place, Putri Pinang Masak and her friend lived. And then, Putri Pinang Masak had a pseudonym. It was “Putri Senuro”. The people in the hilt of Sungai Ogan, knew if in their village lived a beautiful princess from Palembang. So, many teenagers came and looked this princess. They want Putri Senuro or Putri Pinang Masak became their wife. But, Putri Senuro refused that. Thus it was big conflict. Many teenagers fight to get Putri Senuro or putri Pinang Masak. Many teenagers died on the fighter. But nothing teenagers became husband of Putri Senuro. In the last day, Putri Senuro felt a sick. And then she died. Before she died, she prayed and swore to the God that everyone who was born in that place will have ugly face because the beauty will bring the misery to them. The place which became of grave Putri Senuro knew with “Desa Senuro”. Nowadays, Desa Senuro became the part on Kabupaten Ogan Ilir.​
