I like many things. Literature, art, music, if it involves the imagination, there’s a big possibility that I like it, some exceptions are math and biology, because those are of course fascinating things, but maybe not to the general masses, but for now I want to talk about one specific thing that I like, and that is drawing.

Drawing, illustrating, or whatever you want to call it, is something I often find joy in. It’s like a form of escape, a stimulator of self worth and happiness, alongside the improvement of creativity, but that creativity depends on what you focus on and how many components you consider when drawing. Let me tell you a story about it. I started drawing when I was a kindergartener. I always find myself ecstatic, be it in the process of drawing or the point of finishing said drawing. By 2nd grade, I found myself drawing very routinely, and in 7th grade, I found that the curve of my improvement is rising, and it doesn’t stop doing so. That made me really amazed at myself, and now I’m starting to get used to digital drawing, which is something I prefer over the traditional counterpart.

Now that you’ve heard of my journey, let’s talk about why drawing is interesting. It makes you proud of yourself, especially when you see yourself improve, it makes you love your work, it improves your imagination, and it shows you how beautiful your everyday surroundings are to the point where you appreciate them.

But even so, drawing isn’t as easy as it looks, as it can take a lot of brain power to make one that’s detailed. Overall, drawing is a lot of fun, and that’s not an understatement. It's a great hobby to have, which might explain why it's a really popular hobby among people, especially in the internet.
