Penjelasan:

Dalam membentuk kalimat passive, kita melakukan:

1. Menggeser posisi object di kalimat aktif menjadi subjek di kalimat pasif, yaitu meletakkannya di depan kalimat.

2. merubah bentuk verb dari aktif menjadi pasif, yaitu

dengan menambahkan salah satu dari berikut:

- to be (is/am/are/was/were) + verb bentuk ke3  

Ini untuk kalimat-kalimat simple present atau simple past tense yang menggunakan verb dan tidak menggunakan modals (can. may, will, might dst)

Contoh dari soal di atas adalah soal no 5.

They grow rice in many countries  => Rice was grown by them ....

- has/have/had + been + verb bentuk ke-3 untuk kalimat perfect tense yang tidak menggunakan modal)

Contoh dari soal di atas adalah soal nomor 4.

Somebody has cleaned the room => The room has been cleaned by somebody.

will  +be  +being + verb 3
