My First Swimming When I was at elementary school, I didn't

Berikut ini adalah pertanyaan dari indahadhwa2006 pada mata pelajaran B. inggris untuk jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas

My First SwimmingWhen I was at elementary school, I didn't like sports. P.E. class was a subject that I really
hated. My parents were not at all pushy when it came to sports so I chose
not to be competitive in
sports. However, something happened to me and it made me regret why I didn't like sports.
When I was a freshman in junior high school, I was confronted with the choice to join my
school's extracurricular activities. I chose nature lovers club. But then, during August of my first year
when I was thirteen years old, I had a serious
accident that left me with a completely torn medial
collateral ligament, major surgery, a long pin in my knee, a six-pound cast for several weeks, and
a leg brace for months. My orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist recommended swimming as
a low-impact form of daily therapy to build back the muscle mass I'd lost and to loosen the freshly
ended ligaments I'd torn. Then my parents registered me at an athletic club. There were many sports
that I could learn, especially swimming. I learnt swimming for the first time there. My mother took me
to my first practice after school. A year later my condition was better.
When I was in the last semester of eighth grade, liexpressed to my parents an interest in
swimming. I took to swimming like I took to eating as if it was my birthright to be in a swimsuit in
80-degree air next to a pool at all times. In fact, I was so relaxed about competitive swimming that
I never had the intense discipline to become a good swimmer. Then, my mother registered me for
my first official team sport. Since the first month of training I have won nine swimming competitions.
