Halim Perdanakusuma
Air Vice-Marshal Abdul Halim Perdanakusuma was born in Sampang, Madura, Dutch East Indies, on November 18, 1922. In early 1947 Perdanakusuma was promoted to air commodore and tasked to establish a branch of the national air force in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra.
