Alice: Ida, our classmate, got covid and had to be taken to the hospital.

Danny: Oh my God...

Cindy: Don't you guys think we should do something?

Danny: Something like what?

Cindy: Well... she lives with her mother and three little siblings. She has to do part time after school to help her mother supporting their family.

Jamie: I didn't know that. She looks like a 'happy go lucky' girl to me.

Alice: As good friends, we ought to help her.

Jamie: But we can't visit her at the hospital, right? I mean... it's covid.

Danny: We can do something else. How about collecting money to help her hospital bills?

Alice: That's a good idea, Danny.

Danny: If it's more than enough, then the money goes to the family for their daily needs.

Cindy: So... what should we do first?

Alice: We should ask permission to our teacher first.

Jamie: Yes. And after that, we can make an announcement during recess. I will provide a box, so our friends and teachers can donate their money comfortably.

Danny: This is what I call a good friendship, guys.

Cindy: Sure. A good friend is someone who's willing to help their friend in needs.
