Pembahasan

Passive voice adalah Bentuk kalimat yang memiliki hubungan antara subjek dan kata kerjanya.

Contohnya

Rina watch a movie in the cinema.

A movie is watched by Rina in the cinema.

Rumus yang digunakan dalam passive voice adalah

1. Passive voice untuk Simple present

To be → is, am, are

2. Passive voice dengan Modals

Modals → can, must, musn't, should, will, etc..

3. Passive voice untuk Simple past

To be → was or were

Contoh untuk masing masing jenis

1. Passive voice untuk Simple present

• The class is cleaned every day.
• This laptop isn't made in China.
• Motorcycle are used by thousands of teenager arround the world.

2. Passive voice dengan Modals

• A coin must be inserted before you dial the number.
• The mail willn't be sent this morning.

3. Passive voice untuk Simple past

• The tree was planted twenty years ago.
• The flowers were picked today.

7) A plumber is going to fix the leaky faucet.

The leaky faucet is going to be fixed by a plumber.

8) A doctor has examined the sick child.

9) The police arrested the robber.

The robber was arrested by the police.

10) The secretary is going to type the letter.

The letter is going to be typed by the secretary.
