For example :

Our turkey (subject) was eaten (passive verb) by our dog. (the actor)

The subject isn't doing the verb, instead, the action of the verb is done to the subject.

In conclusion, to make a passive sentence, the formula is SUBJECT + PASSIVE VERB + ACTOR
