PARTS OF THE TREE There are three parts of a tree. They are crown , trunk and root. The crown ia at the top of the tree. It consists of leaves, brances and twigs. The crown filters dust and other particles from the air. The leaves are the food factories of a tree. They contain chlorophyl. The chlorophyl helps the photosynthesis and gives green color to the leaves. The trunk or stem of a tree support the crown and give the tree its shape and strength. The trunks consists of some sugar down from the leaves to the branches, trunk and roots. A tree roots absorb water and nutrient from the soil, store sugar and hold the tree upright in the ground.
