Expressing agreement and disagreement (Ungkapan setuju atau dan tidak setuju) adalah ungkapan meminta persetujuan dan pertidaksetujuan.  

1. A :To keep the environment clean, our school needs to buy more dustbins.

B: I'm not sure about that. I think all people in our school should be more aware to throw the trash in its place. For example, we can keep our trashes before we find the dustbin. That can help to make our environment clean.

2. A :The students should raise the fund for poor people.

B :  That's exactly what I think. We can ask the teacher to help us making a charity festival where the students can perform their talents and give funds. It will be great.  

3. A :The government is responsible for the damage caused by flood.

B : I'm afraid I disagree with that. One of the reasons of flood is people keep throwing trashes in the river. We also take the responsibility, not only the government.  

4. A :The hospital has to help our people to get cheap treatment.

B : That's not always true. I think it's not only the hospital's job but the government.They should collaborate in helping poor people to get cheap treatment.  

5. A :Indonesian must import vegetables and fruits from foreign countries.

B : I totally disagree. Importing vegetables and fruits can make our farmers lose their profit. Our farmers can supply them more if the government also support them.

Untuk menjaga lingkungan bersih, sekolah kita seharusnya membeli lebih banyak keranjang sampah.

Saya tidak yakin dengan itu. Saya pikrir semua orang di sekolah kita seharusnya lebih sadar untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Seperti contoh, kita dapat menyimpan sampah kita sebelum menemukan keranjang  sampah.

Indonesia harus mengimpor sayuran dan buah-buahan dari negara asing.

Saya benar-benar tidak setuju. Mengimpor sayuran dan buah-buahan dapat membuat petani kita kehilangan pendapatan mereka. Petani kita dapat memberikan banyak buah dan sayuran jika pemerintah juga mendukung mereka.
