So, my sister lives in Tokyo and one week my parents decide to visit her. One day my sister and I are having lunch when I hear this horrible crunch and realise I have broken a tooth. My sister can't take me to the dentist because she has to go to work and my parents are going out on a day trip. so she directs me to a dentist. By the time I arrive, I have walked for around twenty minutes, which seems further than she suggested, but still I go in. The guy can't speak English and I didn't ask my sister to write down any instructions, so I use gestures to explain the problem. He asks me to lie down on this chair, which I do. While I am lying there, I start to feel a bit uneasy. And that's when he suddenly produces this really long, thin needle and starts moving it towards my ear. I panic, sit up, bow my head in apology and get out of there as fast as I can!
