I think motorbikes should be banned in housing areas due to the following reasons: cause of unreasonable amount of noise, air pollution, diseases, and accidents. First of all, I would like to point out that motorbikes are a major contributor to the pollution in the world. Research has shown that motorbikes produce a deadly gas that is dangerous for the environment. Consequently, long term emission of gas from motorbikes is a major contributor of global warming. Secondly, according to a report from BBC News Channel, motorbikes are also responsible for causing diseases such as bronchitis, cancer, and are a major trigger of asthma and high blood pressure. Furthermore, motorbikes create so much noise. There is “vroom vroom” noise everywhere. It is extremely difficult to sleep. Parents with infants find it extremely challenging. The moment their babies fall asleep, one or another motorbike passes by and the baby wakes up. Finally, motorbikes are responsible for many horrible accidents. In some cases, there are deaths. Motorbike riders go so fast that they are unable to stop on time thus they end up hitting other people or animals. Many times, a lot of animals are trampled and found dead on the road. Motorbikes are known to be the biggest killers on the road. In conclusion, from all of the arguments above, I strongly believe that motorbikes should be banned from housing areas. Born on January 15th, 1965, Susi Pudjiastuti began her career as an entrepreneur and now has led Indonesia’s Marine and Fishery Affairs in 2014 until the coming 2019. Susi, who possesses only a middle school education certificate, was forced to discontinue her school and started a profession as a fish collector in Pangandaran. Starting her profession in a Fish Auction Facility, she was one of seafood distributors in Pangandaran. In 1996, she then established a seafood processing plant named PT ASI Pudjiastuti Marine Product after raising her distributorship. When her fish processing business expanded to the Asian and American markets, Susi needed a mode of air transportation to send her lobsters, fish, and other marine products in fast delivery, so that the buyers could receive them in a fresh condition. In 2004, she bought a Cessna 208 Caravan and built PT ASI Pudjiastuti Aviation called Susi Air. Nowadays, Susi Air is the biggest aviation of Cessna Grand Caravan, Pilatus PC-06 and Piaggio P180 Avianti. The airline employs 175 foreigner pilots out of its 180 pilots. On October 26th, 2014, she was assigned as the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries by President Joko Widodo under his working cabinet year. She was also awarded as a chief for Living Planet Award on September 16th, 2016 by WWF. This is recognition on her performance as Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries to continue a sustainable growth in Indonesian fisheries sector, conservation of the marine ecosystem, as well as her regulation to crack down on illegal fishing in Indonesian waters.
