I visited the Surakarta Palace last week with my family. It was a great experience to see the traditional Javanese architecture and learn about the history of the Surakarta Kingdom.

Firstly, we were greeted by the friendly staff at the entrance gate. They gave us a brief introduction about the palace and provided us with a map. After the museum, we went to the palace garden. The garden was so beautiful with a pond and a lotus flower. We took some pictures there and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.

The last spot we visited was the palace kitchen. We saw the traditional way of cooking using a wood-burning stove and how the royal family used to eat in the past.

Overall, it was an informative and enjoyable visit. We learned a lot about Javanese culture and history. I would highly recommend visiting the Surakarta Palace if you ever have the chance.
