Prince: Nonsense! You are more worthy than any princess in the kingdom. Please, let me love you.
Keong Mas: (sighs) Very well, my prince. But you must promise me one thing.
Prince: What is it?
Keong Mas: You must never let me get wet, or I will turn into a golden snail.
Prince: I promise, my love. I will never let anything harm you.
And so, the prince and Keong Mas got married and lived happily for many years. But one day, while they were crossing a river, Keong Mas accidentally fell into the water and turned into a golden snail.
Prince: (cries) My love, what has happened to you?
Golden Snail: (speaks) Don't be sad, my prince. I am still here, inside this shell. You can keep me with you always, as a reminder of our love.
Prince: (smiles) Thank you, my love. I will treasure you always.
