In the ancient time, lived a young mannamed Galoran. He was respected
because of his wealth and honor. His
parents were nobleman so he could
live with luxury. However, he was very
wasteful and every day just squandered
the wealth of his parents.
One day, his parents died, but he did
not care and continued to spend money
as well as before. Because his life was
so extravagant, all the treasure that he
had was running out and he became
an unemployed person. Many people
sympathized with him and offered a job.
But every time he got the job, he just
dallied and it made him always be fired.
Several months later, there was a wealthy
widow who interested him. He married
the widow and of course, he was very
happy to be living in luxury again.

Here's an example dialogue from the story "Keong Mas" in English:

One day, a poor farmer named Mbok Rondo was walking by the river when she found a golden snail.

Mbok Rondo: Wow, a golden snail! This must be worth a lot of money.

Golden Snail: Please don't sell me, Mbok Rondo. I can give you more than just money.

Mbok Rondo: What can you give me?

Golden Snail: If you spare my life and let me go, I can grant you a wish.

Mbok Rondo: A wish? That sounds too good to be true. But okay, I won't sell you. What do I have to do?

Golden Snail: Just let me go back into the river, and make a wish before I disappear.

Mbok Rondo: Alright, I wish for a daughter as beautiful as you.

Golden Snail: Your wish is granted. Take good care of her, and make sure you keep her away from water.

The next day, Mbok Rondo found a baby girl wrapped in a cloth by the river.

Mbok Rondo: (gasps) She's so beautiful! I'll name her Keong Mas.

Years went by, and Keong Mas grew up to be a kind and gentle young woman. But one day, she was discovered by the prince of the kingdom.

Prince: Who are you? Why have I never seen you before?

Keong Mas: My name is Keong Mas. I am the daughter of Mbok Rondo, a poor farmer.

Prince: You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Will you be my wife?

Keong Mas: I cannot be your wife, my prince. I am not worthy of you.

Prince: Nonsense! You are more worthy than any princess in the kingdom. Please, let me love you.

Keong Mas: (sighs) Very well, my prince. But you must promise me one thing.

Prince: What is it?

Keong Mas: You must never let me get wet, or I will turn into a golden snail.

Prince: I promise, my love. I will never let anything harm you.

And so, the prince and Keong Mas got married and lived happily for many years. But one day, while they were crossing a river, Keong Mas accidentally fell into the water and turned into a golden snail.

Prince: (cries) My love, what has happened to you?

Golden Snail: (speaks) Don't be sad, my prince. I am still here, inside this shell. You can keep me with you always, as a reminder of our love.

Prince: (smiles) Thank you, my love. I will treasure you always.
