The water cycle is also known as the hydrological cycle.

Berikut ini adalah pertanyaan dari agniyafaza pada mata pelajaran B. inggris untuk jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas

The water cycle is also known as the hydrological cycle. There is the same amount of water on the earth now as there was when the earth began. The water cycle is how the earth's water recycles itself. The cycle includes precipitation, evaporation, condensation and transpiration. Earth's water keeps changing from liquid water to vapour and then back again. This cycle happens because of the sun's heat and gravity."

First of all, water molecules from lakes, rivers, streams, reservoirs, and the sea get heated up by the sun and then turn into vapour that rises into the air. These water molecules form into clouds: this is because a process called condensation occurs.

When the air and the water cool, they form drops of water which then fall to the earth as rain. If they are frozen, they become snow or sleet.

Once the water reaches the ground, it can flow across the land until it reaches rivers, lakes, streams, or the sea. It can also sink into the ground and flow because of gravity through gaps in rock, gravel and sand. Because of this, it reaches these bodies of water too.

Now the cycle begins again, when water is evaporated
once more.

the main idea in each paragraph? (setiap paragraf)

Jawaban dan Penjelasan

Berikut ini adalah pilihan jawaban terbaik dari pertanyaan diatas.

Jawaban:

The main idea of each paragraph is as follows:

Paragraph 1: The water cycle is a process through which the Earth's water recycles itself, and the amount of water on Earth remains the same since the planet's beginning.

Paragraph 2: The water cycle involves different stages, namely precipitation, evaporation, condensation, and transpiration. Water changes from liquid to vapor and back again due to the sun's heat and gravity.

Paragraph 3: The process of the water cycle starts with water molecules being heated by the sun, turning into vapor, and forming clouds through condensation. When the air and water cool, they form drops of water that fall to the Earth as rain or other forms of precipitation.

Paragraph 4: Once the water reaches the ground, it can flow across the land, forming rivers, lakes, and streams. It can also penetrate the ground and flow through rock, gravel, and sand, ultimately reaching bodies of water through gravity.

Paragraph 5: The cycle continues as water evaporates once again, starting the process anew.

In summary, the paragraphs provide information about the constancy of water on Earth, the stages of the water cycle, and the role of the sun's heat and gravity in the process.
