Person 1: Excuse me, can I ask for a moment of your time?

Person 2: Sure, what's up?

Person 1: I was wondering if I could borrow your car for the day tomorrow. I have a job interview and my own car is in the shop.

Person 2: Oh, I see. Well, let me check my schedule. I have a meeting in the morning, but I should be done by noon. Can you have it back by then?

Person 1: Absolutely, thank you so much. I really appreciate it.

Person 2: No problem. Just make sure to fill up the gas tank before you bring it back.

Person 1: Will do. Thanks again.

Person 1: Thanks. Hey, do you mind if I ask your sister for permission to borrow her bike in the evening?

Person 2: I don't see why not. Let me text her and ask.

Person 3: (responding to text message) Hey, what's up?

Person 2: My friend here wants to borrow your bike for the evening. Is that okay with you?
