Initially, this exercise was made to help you convert verbs (ex: excite, confuse), into adjectives (ex: exciting, confusing). To do this, you have to put '-ing' after the verb. Usually, some unnecessary letters are removed from said verb, like for example: excite = exciting. The letter 'e' was omitted. Take note: Not all verbs with an '-ing' added to them equal an adjective. And not all of them require an 'ing'. Some require '-ed'. For example - embarrass (to embarrass someone or oneself) = embarrassed (to symbolize how you feel - you are embarrassed because of something).
