Monolog:  the country's loss due to graft

"Dear fellow citizens, I stand before you today, heartbroken and frustrated by the state of our nation. The rampant corruption that has plagued our country for far too long has taken its toll. Our economy is struggling, our infrastructure is crumbling, and our people are suffering. And all because of a few greedy individuals who put their own selfish interests above the welfare of the nation.

Our schools are underfunded, our hospitals are overcrowded, and our roads are in dire need of repair. And it's all because of the money that was siphoned off by corrupt officials.
