Indian citizens are not the majority of the population is Muslim. However, when entering the month of Ramadan, there is a unique tradition that is never absent. The people of India call the month of Ramadan with Ramazan. Many unique traditions are carried out by the people of India, ranging from cleaning the house so that fasting during the month of Ramadan can run wisely, to the tradition of men decorating their eyes with kohl. The people of India also have a unique tradition when breaking their fast, which is called Iftar Picnics.

This tradition is filled with eating together, like a picnic, in an open space. Usually, Muslims and non-Muslims will enliven the field or courtyard of the mosque to take part in iftar picnics . When entering the time of breaking the fast, a variety of sweet foods that have been prepared will start to be eaten with gusto.
