"Myth of Nyi Roro Kidul"=> Once upon a time on the island of Java, there was a kingdom that was safe and prosperous. The king was named Prabu Siliwangi. He was a mighty and handsome king. His consort was named Dewi Rembulan who was wise. The empress was blessed with a daughter named Putri Lara Kadita.
=> Because of her beauty, Putri Kadita was nicknamed the Sun Goddess. Prabu Siliwangi had a concubine named Dewi Mutiara who had a bad character. His heart was always filled with envy towards the empress and her daughter. He aims to eliminate Dewi Rembulan and Princess Kadita because she wants to become the consort of King Prabu Siliwangi.
=> Dewi Mutiara ordered an evil grandmother to make the Moon Goddess and her daughter ugly. The king ordered the soldiers to throw the empress and her child into the forest, for fear it would bring disaster to the kingdom.
=> Putri Kadita and her mother left. Without a goal, the empress died while wandering, while her daughter continued to walk south, until she finally arrived at a steep hill. Due to exhaustion, Princess Kadita fell asleep, in a dream she met a holy man who advised her to purify herself by jumping into the sea to get healing, to get supernatural powers to repay the suffering she was experiencing. When she woke up, Kadita's daughter without hesitation jumped from a steep cliff into the middle of the rolling waves, and sank to the bottom of the South Sea. Her dream also came true, apart from recovering and returning to her beauty, she also gained immortality, but the princess had to stay in the South Sea.
