Leungli Once upon a time, there lived seven sisters in a small village. Their parents had passed away many years ago. Of all the seven sisters, the last child was the only person who had nice attitude and kind heart. Her name was Nyi Bungsu. Her sisters always treated her badly. She was the one who took care of the family and did all the household chores. One day Nyi Bungsu was washing the clothes at the river. One of her sister's clothes fell into the river and drifted away. Her sisters was so mad and asked her to find the missing clothes right away. Nyi Bungsu was so sad, but she realized that it was her mistake so she went back to the river to find the clothes. Nyi bungsu was walking at the river bank when suddenly a goldfish showed up in the water. The goldfish could talk like human and its name was Leungli. Leungli took pity on her and helped to find the clothes. Since that day, Nyi Bungsu and Leungli became best friends. Nyi bungsu went to the river every day to feed Leungli. She would sing in Sundanese to call Leungli, then they would spend hours to talk. At last, her sisters knew that Nyi Bungsu had a goldfish as a friend. They wanted to catch and to cook the fish because its body was so big. After they observed how Nyi Bungsu called Leungli, they finally could catch it. Meanwhile Nyi Bungsu was very sad because Leungli didn't come although she had sung several times. She decided to go back home. When she arrived at her house, she found remains of a big fish on a plate. She recognized that it was her best friend, Leungli. She cried, then she buried the remains of Leungli in the backyard. A few days later, a golden tree grew on top of Leungli's grave. The leaves made of gold and the fruit made of jewel. A lot people came to take the leaves and the fruits of the golden tree. But every time they touched them, the leaves and the fruits turn into dust. Nyi Bungsu was the one who could take them. The story about the golden tree reached the palace. The prince was so curious. He decided to go to the village. He stayed in the village for several days. Seeing the kindness heart of Nyi Bungsu, the prince fell in love. Then he proposed her and they got married.
