My name is Adinda. I am an 8th grader at SMP Panorus Bangsa. I'd like to tell my experience at a short story retelling contest. Yes, I like reading and writing short story. That's why I joined the contest last week. It was Sunday morning. I had been at the Graha Indonesia Hall when the clock struck eight and I was ready to compete. The contest was started at 08:30 A.m.. When everything was ready, the contest started at last. First, the contestants had to write a short story. The other contestant and I had 2 hours and a half to write. All of the contestants including me, collected the short story. After we finished writing, the judges then scored and chose the top ten of the short stories. Because I was on the top ten, I had to retell my short story. I was so nervous, but I controlled myself. I tried to do my best. However, I didn't win the competition. That's okay for me.
