One day, a great storm came through the forest. The wind blew fiercely, and the rain poured down in sheets. The animals all sought shelter, but the crane, being too proud, refused to take cover. He thought that the storm would not affect him because of his beauty and grace. However, the storm was too much for him, and he became soaked and bedraggled. The other animals, who had sought shelter, looked at him in pity as he looked like a mess.

Feeling embarrassed and humbled, the crane realized the error of his ways. He apologized to the other animals for his behavior and promised to be more humble and kind in the future. From that day on, the crane became known as the kindest and most humble bird in the forest, and all the animals respected and admired him for it.

Moral of the story : Pride comes before a fall, and humility is a virtue. The crane learnt the hard way that being proud and arrogant can lead to embarrassment and disrespect
