The grammar information I got from Ed Sheeran's Song: Thinking Out loud

Ed Sheeran wrote the song for Amy Wadge, a famous singer and songwriter. Which means that Ed and Amy has some sort of special connection. But, we know that Amy was the one wo co-written Ed's song - Thinking Out Loud. So I assume as a way to say thank you, Ed changed some scripts and wrote the song for her. To Amy Wadge. But not specifically to Amy Wadge. As that we saw Ed dancing with  Brittany Cherry.  A contestant from the televised American dance competition, So You Think You Can Dance. So in conclusion, we know that Ed didn't wrote the song for Brittany, not for her wife. But Amy Wadge, as a way to say thank you. For co-writing former and previous songs made by Ed Sheeran.
